You cannot be criminally culpable for any matter if you follow instructions on the job to use deadly force in certain professions. If you use two bullets apprehending an unarmed individual standing 10 meters away with orders to use deadly force, then you have not committed the offence of murder. If you release more than two bullets fulfilling the order to use deadly force, then you have not committed murder. You have used deadly force. However, it could be argued that if there is any issue, you have used excessive force in carrying out the order to use deadly force. It is not murder. 1st and 2nd degree Murder is an unlawful killing of another contrary to the legislated peace of parliament. Using deadly force to quell a disturbance in public safety when ordered by your Commanding Office is certainly not an offence.
