Donald had to have had the genuine passion and then it was mopped up and obfuscated by the rushing monsoon waters of the egos in  the Beltway.   The problem was to define the parameters of greatness and what it would look like or was it just
imagining five and dime diners full of vehicles and everybody has a job?   Everyone has to have basic income and everyone is obligated to participate in human resources national  management programs working three days on and three days off per week to ensure there are enough people at all times who know how to pour a glass of wine, pilot a ferry, drive a train, work as a porter on a train or work as a school teacher. This is Holland's approach to basic income.  You get an hourly rate when you do show up in addition to your guaranteed income and  everyone understands that  sometimes you need a few extra days to recover from the new weed ( marijuana) on the market or that weird drop of acid at the after hours club; cool dude!  Basic income is a legal requirement by virtue of international law.  The refusal to maintain basic income is like a socio-economic weapon of mass destruction such as gar that was used to kill Kurds or killing Hutus in Rwanda  slowly but surely. But, I know you don't know any Rwandans but you must know some Tonawandans.     If so, the issue in the industrially automated world and America with its presumption of being the greatest nation with the highest standard or living is the misunderstanding of aggressive capitalism that called for a guaranteed income while this guaranteed income was sullied as a social policy only akin to evil empires by the enemies of American greatness and  the potential that America has to be a real beacon of multi-complexioned human capability.
