A new automated search and rescue system is being designed using drones and small waterproof bots that will resemble a small torpedo craft with suction cups for attachment to the rescue party and will be launched by the drones and then attach themselves to the ship seacraft that is carrying the rescue party on sea and if they are lost on land the drone will track them and wait with them until the search party arrives with satellite telephone and video cameras available to assist the search party in addition to a GPS device to confirm precise coordinates.
